Nearly all of the braids I've done are on hair that falls between shoulder length and hip length - the length that most "long-haired" people tend to wear their hair. But occasionally I have the challenge of doing something with extra-long hair - for this page, I'll define that as hair that is longer than hip length.

Extra long hair can be done fairly easily in a single or classic braid. However, the length allows other things to be done that can look extra fancy.
