Hi! I'm Barbara, the braider of SpicyBraids.

I've been braiding hair for as long as I can remember, starting with my dolls and pieces of yarn before my hair was long enough. I taught myself most of what I know by sitting in front of my bathroom mirror for hours on end, trying to figure out interesting things to do with my hair.

I put up a few pages on hair and braiding on an old website in college, but never got around to doing more. At one point, I had a plan to put up instructions on how to do all these braids, but then I realized that Dreamweaver Braiding was doing just that already, and doing a fine job.

I braided my friends for years before they convinced me I should organize myself and make it legit. Thus, here I am.
